The Little Blue House

It all started back in June when we were planning a short holiday to one of our

favourite spots. I spied a house for sale on a local website... The ad read, "A darling historic house...This historic house contains a living room with a charming five-sided bay window... Restoration would be a pleasure... Original doors, windows, and frames are intact. This house is on a generous-sized corner lot, in a park-like setting of aspen and willow..."

I was intrigued. I had always loved this small town, and it is not too far from our home. We visited the little blue house a couple of weeks later, during a camping trip. It turns out that this house is full of stories, as 114-year old homes are prone to be. We fell in love with it. Of course.

I thought that a blog would be the perfect way to record some of these stories, along with how we came to know this house. I think this is going to be a great love story.
